Delete your data
You are always in control of the accounts you connect and the information Social Assist holds. You can remove one connected network, or delete your whole account.
Social Assist is a product of Assistora. Assistora is the business name operated by DPL Tech Pty Ltd, an Australian company based in Brisbane, Queensland. Deletion requests are handled by DPL Tech Pty Ltd, the company that operates Assistora.
Disconnect one social account
Sign in to Social Assist, open Accounts, and choose Disconnect on the account you want to remove. This deletes the stored access for that account and the account data we cached from it. You can also revoke Social Assist from the social network's own app or security settings at any time — that immediately stops our access, whether or not you contact us.
Ask us to delete your Social Assist account
Email us from the address you signed up with, or use the contact form and choose "Privacy or data request". Tell us you want your account deleted. We may need to confirm your identity first so nobody else can delete your account.
What we remove
Your profile, your workspaces and their content, drafts and scheduled posts, uploaded media, connected-account records and stored access tokens, and any API key you supplied. Posts already published to a social network live on that network — you need to delete those there.
What we may keep, and for how long
We action deletion requests as soon as we reasonably can after verifying them, and we confirm by email when it is done. Some records are kept where the law requires it or where we need them to resolve a dispute — for example billing and tax records, and limited security or audit logs. Copies can also remain in routine backups until those backups age out.
Send a deletion request
Email social@assistora.au with the subject “Delete my account”, or send it through our contact form. Signed-in customers can also raise it in Help & Support. Postal requests can be sent to DPL Tech Pty Ltd, 16 McDougall Street, Milton QLD 4064, Australia.
