What Social Assist is
Social Assist is a social media management application. It helps you manage your social media in one place: connect supported accounts, create and schedule posts, view conversations, and understand how your content is performing.
It is built for individuals who post for themselves, creators who post regularly, and small businesses and teams who share the work. You do not need any technical knowledge to use it.
Social Assist is a product of Assistora. Assistora is the business name operated by DPL Tech Pty Ltd, an Australian company based in Brisbane, Queensland. Our business address is 16 McDougall Street, Milton QLD 4064, Australia.

Why we ask to connect your social accounts
Social Assist cannot show your posts, replies or figures unless you connect the accounts you own. Connecting happens through each network's official authorisation screen, and you choose what to allow. Here is exactly what those permissions are used for:
Connect your own account
You sign in to a social network through that network's official sign-in screen and choose which account or page to connect. We never ask for your social passwords.
Read your account and content details
We read basic profile details (such as your name, username and picture) and the posts or videos you have permission to see, so we can show your accounts and content inside your Social Assist workspace.
Publish only when you ask
We post on your behalf only when you press publish or schedule a post yourself. We never post automatically, and we never post anything you did not create in the app.
Show conversations where allowed
Where a network permits it and you have granted permission, we show comments and messages for your connected accounts so you can read and reply in one place.
Show your performance figures
Where a network makes them available, we show statistics for your own posts, such as views, likes and comments, so you can see how your content is doing.
Nothing else
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with other Social Assist users. You can disconnect an account at any time, which removes its stored access and cached data.

What you can do on each network depends on that network's own permissions and API access. Availability varies by network and permissions, and we only ever act on the accounts you connect yourself.
